This is held on property that is north of San Angelo. From NW San Antonio, it is about 230 miles away. I used to be a member of Ross Creek, the sponsoring club, and have ridden the property a few times.

A few club members have expressed an interest in entering this. Against my better judgment, I have decided to enter myself. The Ross Creek property is really beautiful and offers some fantastic trails. Some of those trails can be very challenging, ie technical, which is why it is generally considered one of the tougher courses in the series.

This year however, the short course (about 50 miles) will be "dumbed down" a bit. My pride only slightly exceeds my riding skills, so I'm going for it. For those of you with a death wish and/or uncertainty about your manhood, you should feel encouraged to ride the long course. ;)

Anyway, it might be fun to have the DBSA members starting on the same row(s). For those unfamiliar with enduros, most rows are available regardless of your class, because you are really racing the clock rather than the people next to you.

Also, no timekeeping equipment is required. If you're unsure about enduros, then just enter and treat it like a trail ride.

More info about the race series is available here (http://http://www.tscec.org/), and about this particular event here (http://www.tscec.org/scoring/schedule.php).

You peaked my interest in this. Never done one and really not sure what is involved. Can you enlighten me?

I plan to make this enduro also. JR (svrider 23 ) is also planning to attend. Due to our overwhelming ego's I believe the long course is in order.

The format is pretty simple and I really enjoyed the Red River enduro. As Blake said you can make what you want of it. It can be a race or a trail ride. It is up to you.
