The DBSA general membership meeting was held 15 February and attended by 17 members.

Main subjects were discussing the work day accomplishments and projects in work. All in all, the work day was a great success and the property and trails are in the best shape in quite a while. The pink trail was extended significantly and the orange trail was rerouted in certain areas (all same direction). While we acknowledge the need for a few additional arrows, the marked trail is easily navigable and additional arrows will be posted soon. Other unmarked trails were also cleared and some railroad ties were added where washouts have been an issue. Please do not remove them from the trail . The pole barn roof was repaired and sheds were cleaned out. Ongoing projects are the installation of lights and ceiling fans in the pavilion and modifying the entrance to allow for Rv access. Thanks to all who participated and worked hard during the work day. The work hours are updated on website and a printed list is posted in the pole barn. The dozer work for the fire roads is still in coordination and members will be notified when this will take place.

The board is pleased to announce we have firmed up cattle management with some experienced help. You will see some changes on the property with folks possibly on horseback assessing the herd and round bale hey is already in place. Should not affect riding other than be aware there may be folks working cattle while at zars.
