2022 Things to know since the website is so far out of date

Holy huge turnouts Batman!!!! We logged 155 folks (members, family, non-members) thru the gate at todays Family Fun Day. I've been a member for 26 years now and that beats the previous record of 110 set back in 2011 (I think). I believe the club made a very good impression for an event that was scheduled and planned in a very short period. I think all who attended would say it was a very positive experience. We had good events (poker run and escargo timed run) and plenty of food for all who wanted to eat including non-members.

Major pat on the back to all the club officers and members who made this happen (especially to our esteemed Land Manager, Jeff Seely).

Thanks to the sponsors (VP fuels, Kent Powersports, and San Marcos shop) who provided the give away drawing goodies. Pardon me if I failed to mention any particular shop.

The December Membership meeting is set for Saturday 10 Dec at the Pavilion at Zars Ranch. This is the meeting where officer elections will take place as well as signups for 2023 memberships. Scheduled start time is 11 A.M. There will be a $20 discount for signups at this meeting. Signups will be continued on Sunday 11 Dec. Vernon Markworth (Treasurer) and Courtney Nesloney (Board Member) will be handling the Sunday signups.

The only contested officer position is my board spot which I am vacating and there are two people running for it. Watch our website for more info on the names of the contestees.
