10-11 (Sat-Sun) April Club Ride Weekend at Hidden Falls ORV Park near Marble Falls. RSVP Required.

RSVP to J.R.Rhoades (jrleerh@sbcglobal.net) by 4 Apr (Monday) if you want to attend and have the club cover your entry/riding fee. If you don't RSVP and come up to ride, then you will be responsible for your own entry/riding fees. Hidden Falls covers about 3000 acres and has a 22 mile motorcycle only trail, ATV trails, and 4WD trails. They have bathroom and shower facilities, rough campsites, and RV sites with electric and water. DBSA will not be covering fees for camping or RV sites.

2010 Work Day Info and Schedule.

Work crews and assignments start promptly at 8 A.M. I'm going to save the pick and shovel work for the late comers.

Zars Ranch will be closed to play riding during work hours on the work days.

Bring your bike, ATV, loppers, chainsaws, work gloves, work boots, etc. I repeat 'Bring your bike or ATV'.

For the May and November work days: These are full work days and run from 8 A.M to no later than 4 P.M. with an hour lunch break at Noon. Bottled water will be provided. Sandwich fixings and chips will be supplied for lunch.

For the August work day only: This is a half day work day and will run from 8 A.M. to Noon. Work hours will be credited on a 2 for 1 basis. Work 4 hours and recieve credit for 8. At noon, there will be a feed provided by the club. Hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ, and Potato salad will be on the menu. You will need to RSVP the DBSA Land Manager (jrleerh@sbcglobal.net) by 11 Aug so we can get a head count for food planning purposes.

The work days will be held as scheduled come rain, shine, burning hot, or freezing cold. The only way a work day would be canceled would be if the San Antonio river overflowed to the point that the roads to Zars were under water.

Zars: 15 May (Sat) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Zars: 14 Aug (Sat) from 8 a.m. to Noon.

Zars: 16 Oct (Sat) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fall 2010 Family Fun Day.

17 Oct (Sunday). Zars Ranch will be closed to open riding and everyone is required to stay in the parking/camping area until the motorcycle games and giveaways are done. Safety is a priority. Poker Run will be the first game and will start promptly at 8 A.M. So get yourselves to Zars and be ready to go by that time. Open riding should be by 1 P.M. at the latest. There is no Guest Rider Fee for this day so invite your friends to come out and play. Remember that they are your guest riders and you are responsible for them. Motorcycle games will include a poker run, escargo chicane race, and kids (up to age 7) parade ride. Food will be provided for free to DBSA members and for a nominal $5 fee for Guest Riders. You will need to RSVP a head count (including your guests that plan to eat) so we can plan for enough grub. RSVP to Blake Berlin (DBSA Vice Prez - berlik@flash.net) no later than 12 Oct (Tuesday).
