Membership Meeting Report for 10 January.

We are now at 53 memberships for 2012.

Work day schedule is now set for 2012. Jan 28, Jan 29, May 5, Aug 4, and Oct 20.

The lock on the gate at Zars will be changed to the 2012 version during the 28-29 Jan work day weekend.

Family Fun Day will be the Sunday (Oct 21) after the October 20th work day. The only question remaining is the start time for the day and the games. Will we continue to start at 8 A.M. or move it back an hour to start at 9 A.M.? If you have an opinion on this matter, please contact a board member or come to the February Membership meeting to speak your mind.

Request was made for the board to assign responsibility for the mailbox sign in/out forms and guest rider forms to a specific board position. Currently, these are restocked on a haphazard basis by whomever on the board decides to check. Sometimes we have failed to have the forms available.

Request was made for the board to consider moving the monthly membership meetings to a day other than the second Tuesday of the month. Apparently, the current schedule conflicts with PTA meetings and it was felt that this might discourage potential members with children in school from attending/joining. Board will take this under consideration. Again, if you have an opinion on this matter, please contact a board member or come to the February Membership meeting to speak your mind.

We may have some SPURS game tickets to raffle off in the near future. This depends on several factors including some legal ones that have to be resolved/verified first. Stay tuned.

Membership Meeting Info and Schedule for 2012.

Monthly Club Membership Meetings are held once a month through November on the second Tuesday of the month starting at 7 P.M.and ending no later than 9 P.M .at Checkers Restaurant, 13853  Nacogdoches Road in San Antonio. Directions are: I-35 exit O'Conner Road; go west 2.5 miles to Nacogdoches Road; turn left; and Checkers is located 1/4 mile on the right.

Membership Meeting Dates for 2012 are: 14 Feb, 13 Mar, 10 Apr, 8 May, 12 Jun, 10 Jul, 14 Aug, 11 Sep, 9 Oct, and 13 Nov.

There will be a December meeting and the location, date, and time of the December Meeting varies from year to year and will be announced in this Section of our web site.
